YOUR EDGE 17 HOSTS

ABOUT US

Your hosts Berni and Brett Campbell are warm, friendly and engaging- only too happy to help ensure you have all you need for a comfortable and memorable stay in Port Fairy.

Brett and Berni moved to Port Fairy in 2014, after falling in love with the place and spending many dreamy summers here in the seaside town with their son William.

Brett, a fifth-generation farmer, and Berni a primary school teacher, made the decision to sell their sheep and cattle farm in Mia Mia in central Victoria and focus on a business which wasn’t as wholly reliant on the weather. For Berni and Brett, the decision to move to Port Fairy was easy, being drawn to the ocean – both on it and in it!

Brett has a keen interest in heritage and performance cars, his prized possession being a Chev Iroc Camaro – which years before he purchased it acted as their wedding car on their wedding day!

Berni has a passion for travelling, sailing and a keen eye for photography and interior design. A lover of people, Berni loves to socialise and make new friends wherever she goes.

Brett and Berni bought Edge 17 in December 2016, previously known as Riverview in the Moyne. After adding their own personal touches (with more changes in the pipeline), Brett and Berni love nothing more than sharing the beauty of the Port Fairy region with guests, showing off the safe and friendly seaside village and all of the wonderful attractions and activities on offer.

Your Port Fairy adventure starts here…

We visited Port Fairy for 2 nights and we were very lucky to find this great little one bedroom apartment right on the river. Our host Brett gave us lots of information about the area including good restaurants to eat at and surrounding areas to visit. The apartment was exceptionally clean, very comfortable with all the extras needed to make our stay a great experience.

The apartment is right on the water with views quiet & peaceful. Lovely little town restaurant and fish and chips on the water… also has a 2 bedroom cottage behind which is beautiful… great fishing and make sure you try the Thai in town.
